learning how to do Origami

I am interested how to do Origami and I have never tried to do cool origami creations but I am going to show you my journey through my learning how to do origami.

November 4th 2016
First I started to watch  a easy video tutorial on how to make a origami jumping frog.

After watching this video I thought that it was not that hard but it was hard to do some of the folding right and also I failed a little because the jumping frog didn't really jump. But after I made it this is how it turned out.

Today I learned that to have a better origami you need to try to fold the folds very hard and straight to make your origami more thinner and nicer done because when I made my first origami it was kind of thick and didn't sit up straight, so this time I will start making my origami  better.

Today I want to watch another video on how to make origami but I want to watch I video that is harder than  the last jumping frog origami I made. Today I wanted to make a diamond. While I was making it it was confusing for me but I kind of failed. It didn't work out so I think it was a little to hard to do second.After my fail  I decided to make something else. 

December 2nd 2016

Today I want to watch a different video that was a not that hard than the diamond  so am learning  how to make a origami heart. When I was doing the origami heart it has not that hard as the jumping frog but some of the folding for making the heart was a little harder and also while making in some of the folds didn't line up with the lines it was supposed to.

Today I wanted to learn some folding tips so I found website.

It didn't give lots of tips but it gave some helpful tips for folding origami.

Today I wanted to make  another  origami but this time I will add the tips I found to my origami. So I made a origami crane and when I added the tips it actually made my origami better. When I added the tips my origami crane looked neater because I  folded the paper better like the tips told me to.

Today I wanted to try something different so what I have decided to is make the same origami but to use origami paper and just normal  blank white paper and see which one is better paper to use for origami making. So before starting I have decided to make a dinosaur using origami paper and blank paper.

When I was making the dinosaur the beginning instruction was the same as making a origami crane so the beginning part was easy. Overall the whole dinosaur making was pretty easy. So I made both dinosaurs and now I will compare.

The origami paper I used was smaller so the dinosaur was small but it still turned out good. I used green origami paper so the front is green and the back is white. When I made the dinosaur with origami paper it didn't stand that well and also you could see some of the white back side paper on the dinosaur but it was my first try with the origami paper so its okay.

With the blank white paper it was bigger so the dinosaur was bigger than the green  dinosaur.
I finished  the dinosaur and  it stood up better than the other dinosaur. It also looked neater than the origami paper dinosaur.
For both of the  origami dinosaurs I used some tape to secure the legs so it will stand better and some tape for other parts of the dinosaur so it will not fall apart and break.
 So overall I think for my opinion for which paper to use I think they both are good to use, like if you don't have origami paper you can just use  regular blank paper.
